The Best of 2020- Weddings

If you had shown us the portfolio of work we’d have by the end of the year when we were still stuck in the April nightmare of postponements and cancellations, we would’ve been astounded by the joy present in the photos, despite everything that had happened to all our couples in the months and weeks leading up to their weddings. This is a hard-fought body of work, the result of endless pivoting by us and our couples, lessons learned on how to prioritize helping our clients through the craziest moments of their lives, and embracing and relishing the change that this year brought us all.

2020 was the year of dogs at weddings, mountaintop elopements, post-ceremony baseball games for the hell of it, smiling through the pouring rain, feeding your bouquet to the goats, livingroom ceremonies after six venue changes, hugging the people in your pod extra tightly, pinatas filled with scratch off tickets and hand sanitizer, and realizing that regardless of what the wedding look liked, you just wanted to be married.

We step into this new year with immense pride in this portfolio, ourselves and our clients in going with the flow and finding that joy in whatever each wedding metamorphosed to be. We’re excited to capture whatever this year holds, and to guide and inspire our clients to do what works best for them this year, regardless of what that looks like. We’re simultaneously full of courage and humbled.

See you in the new year!
