Jackie and Adam's Elegant, Golden Wedding at the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove in Audubon, Pennsylvania
Thanks to Jackie and Adam, we had the privilege of adventuring down to eastern Pennsylvania for the weekend to celebrate their wedding at John James Audubon's first home, in Audubon, Pennsylvania. Adam's sister, Amanda is a good friend and talented photojournalist who I met in college, and it was an added bonus to get to catch up with her AND celebrate with her family!
While hurricane Hermine was stirring up trouble 300 miles away, there was absolutely no sign of the storm- rather the most perfect weather we've seen all wedding season. Birds jumped from branch to branch of the giant locust tree that towered over Jackie and Adam as they said their vows.
The cocktail hour was held in this insanely gorgeous mid-1800's timber-frame barn, which Jeff couldn't keep his eyes off!
Jackie and Adam were awesome accomplices in our portrait endeavors as we pulled them away from dinner to take advantage of the perfect golden light that briefly settled over the estate, before we released them to dance the night away!
