Briony and Joe's Art-Inspired Wedding at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts

There were so many things to be excited about Briony and Joe’s wedding. First, it was my first time photographing a wedding at the unparalleled deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, with it’s beautiful gallery and thoughtfully-designed grounds. Second, I was thrilled to work with Briony and Joe, who meld sweetness, chill, and the best kind of weirdness. Finally, I knew Briony and Joe had guests coming from all over the world, so I was excited to meet and photograph folks coming together who hadn’t seen each other in a long time.

Not only did all these things deliver, but add perfect weather to the mix, and the result is my dream day to photograph. I loved documenting Briony and Joe getting ready together, toasts both at cocktail hour and at dinner time, and a whole bunch of people who love to dance and don’t care how they look while doing so. I’ll let the photos explain the rest of why I loved spending the day here!
