Becky and Joe's Puppy-Friendly Intimate Wedding at the Woodstock Inn and Resort in Woodstock, Vermont
Unlike most of the people who get married at the Woodstock Inn, Becky and Joe are hyper local, having moved just 10 minutes up the road last summer in the midst of the pandemic, when they traded their Boston digs for a yard for their Golden Retriever, Cheddar, to roam. Since then, they’ve added another addition to their family, a nine-week-old Golden Retriever puppy named Jackson, who stole the spotlight from his parents for most of the day as he charmed half of Woodstock.
Since their local, I was able to meet up with Becky and Joe (and they met our dog Arlo!) a few times before their wedding, so on the day of, it felt like we’d been friends for a while. I loved meeting both their families, AND getting to explore the Kelly Way Gardens, which the gardener in me was so excited to experience. We even found a field there absolutely full of Lupines, which I had dreamed to photograph a couple in for a long time. Excited to get to spend more time with new locals and friends, Becky and Joe :)
