Zelie and Rene's Peak-Foliage Intimate Wedding in Stowe, Vermont

Vermont’s white whale is peak foliage, sunny, and 78 degrees, all at the SAME TIME. Zelie and Rene, the chillest couple in the history of intimate weddings, had the trifecta on Saturday at their awesome Airbnb complete with two ponds, tennis court, slide, and view of the surrounding mountains, probably because they didn’t worry or think about weather much at all. They also had two dogs in attendance and two wedding crashers- Zelie’s dear friends Meg (whose wedding we photographed last September!) and Lily came for a family hike in the morning and decided to stay for the rest of the day, much to Zelie’s delight!

After the sweet ceremony officiated by Zelie’s brother, Park, Zelie, Rene, and I explored the magical grounds of the estate. With the fading sweet light, colorful leaves, and a couple who were adventurous (aka up for anything), I had the perfect palette to create some epic photos.

Here’s to more intimate weddings with awesome people and great family who make me feel like part of the crew by the end of the evening!
