Sarah and Noah's Free-Spirited, Hand Crafted Wedding at Big Picture Farm in Townshend, Vermont

Sarah and Noah are some of the coolest people I’ve ever met. They have a plethora of passions, including flower farming and arranging, woodworking, cat wrangling, bourbon tasting, coin collecting, sewing and Native American crafts, among other things. Their wedding, which was planned from the beginning to be an intimate affair with just their family present, was not just a celebration of each other, but of all the things they love. To pay homage to their dream of running a farm in Vermont (please move here ASAP, I need you closer so we can HANG!), they held their wedding at one of our favorite venues (which also happens to be the farm of our dear friends Lucas and Louisa), Big Picture Farm, a working goat farm with the most picturesque views and farmhouse.

I’d been over the moon excited about Sarah and Noah’s wedding since they reached out earlier this summer to inquire about our availability, especially to capture Sarah’s flowers (most of which she grew herself, all of which she arranged herself), Noah’s woodworking, and the couple’s plans to honor Noah’s Blackfoot/Mohegan heritage. The perfect weather and golden light of September made it even more of a pleasure to document, and how sweet both Sarah and Noah’s families were. On the drive home, on a phone call with Jeff, I remarked how not once did I feel like I was actually working, I felt like I was exploring my art to the fullest and spending time with some new, wonderful friends.
