Francesca and Adam's Classic Christmas Wedding at the University Club in New York City
There was no better way to end our biggest and best wedding season ever than with Francesca (known as Chessy by her friends and family) and Adam’s Christmas wedding in York City this past weekend. Not only was their wedding in the fabulous holiday destination spot of New York, their reception was right off Fifth Avenue, in the historic University Club right in the midst of New York’s shopping district. As guests dined, there were stunning views of shoppers bustling and twinkle lights strung on every tree in sight on the streets seven stories below. The band serenaded Chessy and Adam with “All I Want For Christmas Is You” as they entered the festively decorated ballroom, filled with Roses, Amaryllis, and sparkling trees and snowflakes. Later, couples slow danced to “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” and donned Santa and Elf hats while partying hard late into the night.
All these festive details would’ve been enough to keep us happy, but to top everything off, Chessy and Adam themselves were the loveliest couple, the perfect combination of organized (every photographer’s dream!) and super kind. We lost count of how many times they checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time as everyone else and to thank us for being there. But honestly, we wanted to thank them for giving us the opportunity for a December adventure in our favorite US city with the loveliest people and making us feel just as much apart of the party of the winter as any of their guests.
