Sydney and Ben's Engagement Session in Strafford, Vt.
We've been good friends with Sydney's family for several years- I've had the pleasure of going on some crazy trail rides with Sydney's mom, Lianne, and her sister, Quinn, and Jeff has collaborated with her dad, Peter, on woodworking projects, so we were thrilled when Sydney and Ben asked us to photograph their wedding in Norwich, Vermont next year.
I was extra happy on Friday morning when they brought their Corgi puppy, Louie, as a surprise, and she jumped in the canoe as we drifted along my favorite pond to take pictures. When we came ashore and photographed in the woods, Louie ran around in happy circles around Sydney and Ben, keeping all of us entertained. We ended the session right across the street from Sydney's family's home, at the Strafford Meeting House, where the surrounding trees were at their peak fall color.
