We are Sarah and Jeff Porter, Vermont wedding photographers specializing in a moment-driven approach to events, creating candid, natural photographs that capture the true essence of each wedding. We love what we do! Each wedding is a new experience, and we enjoy bringing a quiet, focused excitement to every celebration.

We met while both pursuing degrees in photojournalism at Rochester Institute of Technology, and fell in love over our shared obsession with photography, road trips, and new adventures. After graduating and interning at newspapers across the country we moved to a quiet mountainside in Vermont, where we are constantly inspired by what we feel is the most beautiful corner of the world.

Sarah is a second-generation wedding photographer who spent eight years apprenticing with her parents before she began photographing weddings on her own, and works during the week as a staff photojournalist for the photo-centered Valley News, and as an editorial photographer for local and national publications. Jeff became fascinated with photography from an early age while looking at the prints his father made in their home darkroom, and began photographing weddings while studying photojournalism in college. When he's not photographing weddings, he designs and builds timber frame barns, homes, and fine furniture.

We're proud members of the Wedding Photojournalists Association (WPJA), a curated shortlist of wedding photojournalists from around the world. We're also happy to be a part of the Vermont Association of Wedding Professionals (VAWP), a group of lovely people that are proud as we are to call Vermont home.
